Providing feedback

“Thank you to the group for letting me come along. For me personally it was a great experience. I have taken the feedback to the researchers and they are going to redo the forms and submit to ethics”

NIHR feedback form for researchers

It is so important to put processes in place to obtain feedback from researchers after each activity so this can be fed back to the YPAG members.

This can take up a lot of time as feedback isn’t always a quick process, for example, if amendments to a protocol or patient information sheet are recommended by the group this has to go through certain processes and governance arrangements within research teams, which possibly takes a long time.

The facilitator must have ongoing conversations with research teams to obtain this feedback otherwise YPAG members feel their input is wasted.
